From first question to next steps

Your appointment, step by step.

Every stage is explained, consent is ongoing and the plan stays connected to what matters to you.

  1. Before arriving

Use the relevant booking route for your chosen clinic. If you are unsure whether the service may be suitable, contact Jen with a short general question.

  2. Case history

Jen listens to what has brought you in, relevant health information, how the problem affects you and what you want to return to.

  3. Physical and movement assessment

With your agreement, Jen assesses relevant movement, function and physical findings in relation to your presentation.

  4. Explanation

Findings and possible next steps are explained in clear language, with time for your questions.

  5. Consent

Jen discusses the proposed approach and asks for your consent before treatment or assessment continues.

  6. Treatment where appropriate

Hands-on osteopathic treatment may form part of the appointment when it is appropriate and agreed.

  7. Initial rehabilitation plan

Guidance or exercises may be introduced to connect the appointment with movement and functional goals.

  8. Next steps

You leave with a clearer understanding of the proposed plan, what to monitor and whether follow-up may be useful.
